parcel delivery within Australia is via commercial courier for larger parcels or Australia Post for the majority of our deliveries. all orders over $50 are shipped free unless a bulky item surcharge applies.
we do not ship large furniture or items over 2kg internationally. if you place an order for an international delivery on a larger item we will contact you with additional delivery charges. if charges are beyond your expectation and you choose not to proceed we will refund your original order.
that online shop is in the process of developing retail shop premises in ELTHAM and HAWTHORN EAST Victoria so collection from these areas is available on Wednesday and Friday after 12pm. You can place your order at any time and your parcel will be available for pick up after 12 pm on the following pick up day after your order has been received.
you can call or email us to speak to a shop assistant and have your queries answered or place an order over the phone using credit card payment. we pride ourselves on customer service and are here to make online shopping a more personal experience, so please call to speak with us – we get tired of computer screens too!

- PERMISSION TO LEAVE unattended is at the customer’s own risk. if you can not specify a safe location please think carefully about this option as we can not take responsibility for delivered goods if they are removed before your receipt.
- DELIVERY SURCHARGE may be communicated after your order has been received if delivery address is in a non metropolitan postcode and the item is bulky/fragile. We only pass on excess freight charges to the customer if there is an irregular expense applied by carriers; Australia Post, FastWay, Couriers Please, TOLL, TNT, Startrak.
- dispatch is from Melbourne, usually within 24 hrs of payment receipt
- if orders are placed after 2pm we cannot guarantee same day dispatch or EXPRESS 24 hour delivery, if in doubt please call our office or email email@example.com.
- in most cases orders will be prepared as payment is received, allowing you to receive your goods within 2-5 days from time of dispatch.
- delivery times may vary depending on size of parcel and delivery address.
- if you are ever concerned about your parcel processing/delivery time please contact us either via email at firstname.lastname@example.org or call our office on 03 9818 7731. we will do all that is possible to rest your mind at ease!
- if you will not be home during delivery times of 9-6 please note ‘permission to leave’ or similar delivery instructions in the comments section of the checkout process.
- consider using a business address or neighbour’s address if you’d prefer not to leave a parcel unattended or have it delivered to your local post office for pick up.
- if your parcel can’t be left in a safe place the delivery person may leave a notification card ato arrange redelivery or the item will become available at your local post office for collection.
- if items are not collected, and re-delivery notifcation not responded to, items may be returned to ThatOnlineShop and any re-delivery charges will be charged to the customer.
additional shipping costs may apply to bulky/fragile items, this will often be noted in the product description. we will contact you to notify you of any additional delivery charge based on your address and the weight/size of the parcel when we have reeived a quote from our carriers. if you are unhappy with the additonal charge we’ll happily reverse your order and refund your payment.
pre order furniture may be delivered to you direct from the supplier warehouse. we will communicate with you to ensure you are kept informed of the processing and delivery times involved. if you are unhappy with our courier suggestions we are happy to provide all the relevant information to assist you in arranging your own pick up and delivery. we are not able to ship larger parcels and furniture internationally. if your order is international and larger than 2kg in weight you will be contacted to pay additionally shipping costs, and the opportunity for a transaction reversal offered if the shipping costs are greater than your expectation.
