Blended MHFA in the Workplace course options can be tailored to meet organisation needs.

Blended Mental Health First Aid in the Workplace courses are offered on site for your organisation or at public community training facilities where a demand by individuals wanting to complete the training has been expressed.  Please email interest to to request further information on upcoming dates.

Designed for workplaces that require increased flexibility in the delivery of training for their staff members, the Blended Mental Health First Aid in the Workplace course is a combination of online (eLearning) and a half day of follow-on face-to-face training. After completing both steps, participants are eligible to complete an online Accreditation Assessment in order to receive a Mental Health First Aider Certificate of Accreditation valid for 3 years. Accredited Mental Health First Aiders are eligible to be appointed as Mental Health First Aid Officers in the workplace. Read all about the MHFAider Program.

The course teaches managers, supervisors and individuals how to assist a co-worker who is developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis. However course participants will learn mental health first aid skills that can be applied to help any adult. Course content is tailored to the white-collar workplace setting using case-studies, videos and resources tailored to their learning needs.

Course participants first complete the interactive self-paced eLearning component that presents an overview of mental health problems and mental health crises. The follow-on face-to-face training allows participants the opportunity to revise and consolidate skills in a group environment, and to address mental health problems in the workplace in more depth.

$95 Cost is for face to face 3.5 hour component required to review online learning and become accredited as a mental health first aider.  Your online training cost is paid directly to MHFA who will distribute the online learning program to you.
